The Henry Jones Art Hotel is Australia’s first dedicated Art Hotel which opened on Hobart’s waterfront in late April 2004.

Standing on the historic site where Governor Collins first settled Hobart over 200 years ago, a row of early colonial warehouses dating from the 1820’s and a former IXL jam factory have been transformed into an enthralling first class hotel.

Restaurants, cafes, shops, arts and crafts are close by, with the CBD only a 10-minute walk.

The hotel has 56 individually designed 5-star rooms and suites feature trapeze lighting and a king or twin-sized bed and lavish silk covers and ottomans, LCD flat screen TV, DVD, high-speed internet connectivity and opening windows. Most suites have close harbour views, while others overlook the stunning glass Atrium. Hotel rooms and public spaces exhibit original artworks

The Henry Jones stylish and diverse spaces can be adapted for events ranging from intimate meetings and special occasions to larger-scale seminars and conferences for 100 plus guests.
