Mercure Ballarat is situated in the Victorian goldfields town of Ballarat in 4 hectares of landscaped gardens.

It is a comfortable 75 minutes from Melbourne along the Western Freeway and just 60 minutes from the airport and convenient to the central rail link.

Mercure Ballarat now boasts 97 accommodation rooms.  Standard rooms feature one king bed which can be split into two king single beds for twin share accommodation.  There are also 9 two bed apartments with one king size bed and two single beds.  Onsite facilities include a restaurant and bar, day spa, outdoor swimming pool, games room, gym and jogging track.

With 8 versatile meeting rooms, the venue has a strong conference focus. The addition in recent years of the Convention Centre takes the venue’s capacity up to 750 delegates in theatre style and features audio-visual lighting, projection and screens. The main area can be divided with a retractable wall, plus a separate pre-function room.

The 316sqm Eureka Ballroom has floor to ceiling bay windows and can comfortably seat 60 delegates U-shape, 80 classroom or 150 guests in banquet style. Victoria Rooms comprises 3 private meeting or function rooms that feature French doors that open onto the veranda overlooking the lake.
